Unfolding

If we hold too tightly to the dreams we create, we leave little room for the possibility of evolution.

The dream of community was born through the desire for deeply connected relationship, shared life, sustainability, simplicity, freedom from long days of meaningless work, and a joy and love for the natural world. Children were born through adventurous love, shared vision, a desire for rootedness. Creative ideas were born out of necessity and desire for stability and expansion. Market gardening, permaculture, home schooling, soap making, hosting, running programs, classes and events… such beautiful vision. The wheel of life continued to turn, turn things around, up root and replace, compact and free… dreams shifted as life shifted. The flow was sometimes slowed by our resistance and immaturity but as we learned to except what was (even through sacrifice and suffering) and creativity explore the possibility of change, we were able to joyfully come to what is. Learning to care for myself became a radical process in a world of expectations. There is surely no perfection here and yet the beauty that lies in each of our journeys is uniquely ours to experience fully and share as we feel called.

Many years and dream shifts latter, this vision to offer avenues of radical self care is birthing and I am so excited and curious for the possibilities this journey will bring!
